Clarification on collars vs. solid bushings

Great install posting!, I just bought some Alum inserts myself, but then im reading posts where people talk about noise, i assume noise would be movement of the subframe member against the alum collars, my question is dont these collar inserts Eliminate movement of the sub member in either horizontal or vertical direction, or do they only reduce it. Because the rubber bushing is still inside i understand that. But if the member is cranked down against these then doesnt it make a ridid member against the chassis? Sorry to get so technical i know some you thinkin dam dude just put them in there and stop whining. I know but if the collars do the same thing as putting in whole new bushings, then why would anyone go thru the trouble of droppin the whole thing, torching them out and puttin back in? But the slotted collars are genius wish i would have thought of them.

no the noise is the vibration from the diff sent through the chassis..... its a give and take relationship.. ill deal with the noise for a more solid rear end lol.
