KA-T Build?

I actually only have one question. I am getting a stock turbo off of an Evo VIII and I was wondering what would be the best header to use this turbo on a KA24e? I just want something that will be somewhat reliable.

You mean manifold? I assume you'll require a turbo manifold that fits the 16g pattern (that's the turbo I believe the 4G63 uses). As far as "reliability", well, as long as it's properly milled at the fittings and flanges, piping is piping and should hold up to . . .whatever it is that people do with KA-T setups.

there are many variation of manifolds for the KA24de however not so many for the KA24e... so you will either have to make it and or just get one premade and swap the flange. check out jgstools.com

Isn't it twin scroll? For your purposes your best option is probably a fully custom log manifold

this is what you're dealing with...
Divided housing (twin scroll) Mitsubishi flange. You are going to have to make your own divorced manifold or modify a Mitsubishi one to use on your sohc. The latter is probably your best option if you really want to use that turbocharger.

I don't see that being too much of an issue, so you can't use that turbo easily, so what? Just sell the turbo to someone else, buy a T3/T4, manifold and downpipe and rock that.

Sounds like the easiest plan and requires very little fabrication.
