Ka24de Tune for power?

Does anybody know what degree OFF-factory timing + needle adjustment can be used to provide more torque for an s13 ka24de and still range within a 1000rpm idle? I recently returned my settings back to factory to pass smog (the previous owner had some super-off settings..made me fail my first smog test).

Note: i have the smog pump AKA emissions controller unit removed.

its about 15 btdc for oem, so im guessing 10? big vinnie knows. where is he?. i dont think it gives more torque but just shifts the torque band to a lower rpm range

im guessing 10 so you can still use cheap gas and not get any knocking. but its still a guess and not a for sure answer tho. also advancing will kill your top end but i dont think ppl go up to 7 k on a daily basis so its suited well for daily driving to get more usable power from it.
