lack of power....
after a brief stint of being back to normal.......once again-it all came back AGAIN!!!! caught wind of that SeaFoam crap and tried it out............i deff had a bad cat. It cleaned out so much carbon it was pretty damn nasty. I had a pile of carbon shyt(on the garage floor-right below my exhaust tip) that was about 7-8" wide(all around) and damn near 2/16"-3/16" thick!!!!! made it run and idle soooo much better. But now knowing this-im currently in the market for a good used exhaust for now(too broke to afford some new flashy one haha). Maybe even get a test pipe while im looking for an exhaust. I heard the ebay deals(on cat-backs and test pipes) are crap and dont fit well....can anyone vouch for this or against it??? thanx
WTB:2"-2.5"cat-back and test pipe....................prefer one already "tested" by someone else hahaha

i been wanting to look into it....but evry time i do....i read somewhere about someone sayin that the test pipe doesnt line up right or the flanges on the exhaust dont line up with the testy(hahahaha......testy-i had to laugh) That pace still up?? i saw your update on your site-MASS PROPS!!!! looks a billy times better IMO.
what should i go with?? a new cat is $90......a test pipe is $20??? i prolly dont tho-but what should i do??? some dumb shyt b4 me had the cat welded to the header. So im tryna find a header and go from there. Later JR-lemme know duke
the moral thing to do is buy a new cat, some claim that a test pipe is beneficial becuase of the hp robing characteristics of the restrictive cat. that's not entirely true though because losing 2-3hp is not a big deal. with that said, you can also make a hole in cat. i'm not advocating the burring down of the rain forest or clubbing of baby seals, but if you plan to get a test pipe then you've already decided against protecting the environment.
hahaha advocating clubbing of baby seals.....that shyt was funny bro. i just want whats best for my car. I actually agree with you on running and getting a new cat-but my boi says a test pipe is the way to go and all the hoop-lah. I thought id take his words and run with it. me and him fight over that shyt evry time he comes to my house. But $90 doesnt seem that bad for a brand new cat either. If i was to upgrade my piping what you think i should go with JR?? im not boosting anytime soon....so as your sig says "NA is O-Tay" hahaha yea!!! ive heard 2" is best for NA....but what do i know(absolutly nothin!!)
there are different opinions and exhaust theory is just that, a theory. there's a lot on the matter on the web so i recommend you run a search on "exhaust theory" and see what conclusion you come to. i would recommend you stick with either 2.25" or 2.5" though.
