no, leak is still there, but the Martin (the tuner) said my car was prefectly fine to drift on, and that my motor was one of the healthiest he's seen....

he also said that i have "A very nice set up", which i think is kinda nice, cause i built my car on used parts, low budget, and in my driveway with basic hand tools... he's used to people saying "here's my credit card, build me a 600whp 240"... so it felt good for him to say that when he used to high end builds...

as fot the godspeed track test, i think that when i do it, it might be one of the first i've seen... when i initially bought my suspension, i couldn't find anything but "godspeed sucks, it's gonna break" from a bunch of people who never used the stuff...

well guys, after using my buddys 04 Silverado as tow rig over sunday, it made me realize "I GOTTA GET ME OE OF THESE!!", and the search began...

got on CL and found a 1999 Silverado Ext Cab, V8, 4x4, tonnau cover, Foose 23" rims with newish tires... and the guy wants to trade straight up for my 1997 Audi A4 Quattro (AWD) 2.8L V6 5spd.. so i'm jumping on the trade, as i REALLY need a tow rig if i'm going to be going to all these long distance events...

so i'm going from this, one of my two daily drivers (with mechanical problems that are very $$$ to repair)....

to this....

and it matches the 240!!! kinda dirty cause it's been sitting for a while, but **** it, it's just a tow rig to tow my 240/future drift car to events, and for work...

only one problem, the tranny's blown... luckily, the guy in the pic above with the hat and shades, has a freshly rebuilt and upgraded tranny he'll sell me for $500, and have it installed for $250....

either way, i'm getting a tow rig, and when i sell the S10, i'll be getting a car trailer with a tire rack and tool box...

**** just got real son....

Awesome man!!! Looking good out there. You should try to score a set of 17s for drifting and slap some decent tires on them. More grip = more fun and more control.

i fully plan on getting a drift set... with REALLY good tires up front... maybe some mustang wheels....

well, i took a pass on that Chevy with the 23"s... after the kid cleaned it, it looked even WORSE, if you can belive that... that, and it looked like there was some 16 y/o girls Captain Morgan and Burger King vomit on the headliner i didn't notice...

so instead, i picked this up.... a 2000 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab stepside 4x4.. and it came with more than i bargained for... it should make a REALLY nice tow rig once i buy a nice little flat bed to tow the car with.... only thing wrong with it? a bad transfer case for the 4x4, of which, i have a used one coming Monday via LKQ...

here's the pics, PRE DETAIL, so it IS a mess...

bunch of retarded stickers i'm gonna have to take off... except maybe the "Jesus Loves you, but i don't give a ****" sticker..

purrs like a kitten, with ARCTIC AC... i can't believe how cold it is...

now here's the little surprises i didn't know about when i first bought it....

TV's

2 Alpine amps, under seat custom enclosure, and costum center console enclosure both holding JL Audio 12's...

well, that's the new Tow rig.... not bad for $2,500....
