Sorry for the delay... But while i was again being lazy.. I ordered the new exhaust system for the car, and additional 90 degree pipes for the intercooler.

Pipes came earlier this week, the exhaust should be here Tuesday the 6th. I have to get down to the junk yard and gather up some KA engine harness terminals to finish up the wiring... if everything goes well, that should be the day I try and start the motor. I'll keep you all posted till then!

That's what I got to say about that... no I idea what to expect.. But I definitely want to try and get it started!

i have another question my motor was sent with the relays and relay boxes should i use those or use the ka relays???

^^ From my research, I haven't seen any mention of using any other relays than what is already there. Check your FSM and see what those relays control, prolly the flip up lights or something simply like that. ^^

It was finally warm enough to get into the garage and do some work.

The exhaust system was delivered last Tuesday, but for someone reason I was expecting the lower portion of the down pipe to be included, which of course it wasn't. So that its on route and should be in sometime next week.

Tonight I was able to complete the piping and mount the intercooler. After that, I was able to splice in the terminals I cut from a KA.

At this point I thought I could attempt to start the motor, but when I turned the key I just heard was a loud click... with that upset, I directly connected power to the starter and it did crank the motor. So from here, I have to start trouble shooting the problem between the key and the starter.

Any easy fix or suggestion please let me know! I have some pics, but I forgot the camera at the garage. I'll get them up lata.

Check the starter relay im sure there is one use a volt meter to see if there is any power running through there with the key on

Or go to wiringspecialties.com they have a bunch of troubleshooting stuff on there.

I still need to secure the intercooler. It should pull it up and closer to the car. There's enough movement if I need to make adjustments to get the front end back on.

Who doesn't like shinny things

Received the last piece of the exhaust today. Installation for this later in the week.

Ebay special exhaust, claims to be T304 stainless steal with N1 Fireball type muffler with silencer. HP gains 10-15 hp, and muffler produces sporty tone (any else believing this, cause I'm not, lol )

total spent on this $287 including shipping. I'll ride it till it dies.

I like the way it is positioned. Not to far out and in, just right. I think adding the downpipe will push it out just a bit, but not much.
