Whining after installing Subframe Spacers

I installed my subframe spacers last night. Everything went well, but when i drove it today, i heard i high pitch whine while i was accelerating. Sounds kind of like a supercharger whine coming from the rear of the car. I checked the driveshaft and axles to make sure nothing was rubbing. But they were okay. Anyone else expierence this noise after installing the spacers?

i understand that the spacers have nothing to do with moving objects, i was checking the driveshaft and axles because the rear of the car does not squat as much, therefore it sits higher which could have change the angle of the driveshaft or axles.

try jack up the back of your car and let it run in 1st(wheels off the ground of course) and try see if u can find the noise.

It seems that whenever you install/modify stuff onto the subframe the cars picks up a little noise but I never heard of anything like a whine.

I just installed Motor Mount inserts on my pal's SE-R SpecV and it did make some noise as well but more of a vibration

Yes, i believe that since i changed from rubber bushing contacting the metal chassis to metal to metal contact, the vibrations conduct easier. Thats were i get the wining from higher RPM's.

Did you lubricate them good?

From the review here, last post:

....take grease and get as much in the upper part and lower part of the bushing as possible....

I stress that you grease the hell out of every bushing because I didnt at first. I always had squeaking in the rear when going over speed bumps and curbs, and it seemed to get a little worse after this. I took em off, greased the bushings and reinstalled, and now my car is silent!
See if that helps.
