Hey I need to know what you guys thin about my car having to much for a turbo. It has 114,XXX miles seems to be in pretty good condition. I will take a compression test, I want reliability more than anything.

depends on how it was driven. compression is a good key to check it out. How many psi you wanting? If compression is good and engine is in good shape, you should be bale to hit 6-8 psi no problem. I'm looking into it for my KA actually ,and it has 125k but purrs like a kitten. A thicker HG will help you bump it to 10psi, however thats as safe as it gets on stock internals.

yea I really wanna do a swap, rb20det or ca18det but smog is gay im just gonna wait and see what happens I can find connections. I know people who know poeple so I dont know.

Yea, that amount of miles doesn't seem too much to me. I have 178k miles, so I'm not gonna risk it. Fortunately I don't have smog in the county I'm in right now so I could do the swap, but if I move......

 

dont worry about it 6-8 is allkinds of funwhen you go from stock to around 200 to the wheels and it is safe mine has 153k and runnin strong at 12
