LSD

Hi Everyone,
We never push people to buy our product. We do make suggestions and some sales pitch but like we mentioned on previous posting, the choice is up to the user. Kaaz, ATS, Cusco,
NIsmo or OS have their our unique features and advantages.
We think they are all very good product for hard core road raciing,
drifting or high performance street use. Viscous type and Torsen type (like Quaife) has its own unique features and advantage too.
They are both very user friendly mild locking device and have no chattering sound like the clutch type lsd. Yes, they are more maintenance free but does have it's shortcoming too. Viscous type does not react instantly like clutch type. Torsen type becomes inactive when one of the tire goes up in the air. Both tires need to be touching the surface to be active. This is the reason why many Solo II, road racing and rally car drivers prefer the clutch type design because they are always active. This is another reason why aftermarket brand like Kaaz, ATS and others produce clutch type design.
Also there are many satisfied user of our product who has more than 70K miles without rebuild. Normally the tranny will go before the lsd will. Key to get the most life out of any lsd unit is oil change.
BTW, ATS is a company that sprung out of Kaaz few years ago. Two engineers got pissed off with the management and left the company to start ATS. Our design is basically same.
FYI, Kaaz is planning to come out with torsen type lsd units early next year to cater toward less sports oriented users or to people not wanting an aggressive clutch type design. These new torsen type lsd will be retailed between $495 ~ $595.
Regards.
