I only have the differential, so figure ill need new bearings and a new gasket, and i assume i can buy that stuff from autozone, are my assumptions correct?

oil seals, rear gasket, races and bearings... you can get away with using the old races and maybe the bearings depending on the mileage but the oil seals are about $4 for a pair at autozone. Make sure you get a good quality non-synthetic gear oil for the diff also. 80w90 GL-5.
