yea, once you pass they give you a sticker (place on windsheild) that says the next time you have to get smogged as long as you have it on there... you're good to go

 

i know someone is going to hate me for bumping a year old thread but check the bolt in the ecu because if its turned all the way to the right the check engine light goes off and wont come on at all ( the diagnostic bolt ).... at least thats what happened to me
