I dont know if it was for the show or not, but I swear it was on there. The thing was it would be impossible to read from more than 2 feet away. Sorry i cant help you cronux. Can't the switch on the brake pedal go bad?

i just remembered that their maybe a button switch under the brake pedal. when u step on the brakes it causes it to give voltage. in turn, your stop light turns on. i had a similar problem with my previous car, having the stop light on at all times. maybe a possibility that it can cause it to have it off. check and find the plug on that button and check that voltage on that too. it should give you a reading when you press the pedal. aside from that i dunno. hope this helps

its not my brake lights that dont work. the bulb for the brake lights is a dual filament bulb. it has one filament for the brake lights, and one for the "tail lights" which i also call rear running lights, because when your headlights are on, those are supposed to be on. but the brake lights work fine.

Same here, the brake lights work just fine but when your lights are on and you take your foot off the brake, only the spoiler light and the passenger side tailight are lit up, the driver's side tailight is completely out. I checked the fuses again and nothing, I also looked at the wiring for the assembly and everything is ok, no frayed or spliting wires and they are secured tight.

Lol cronux thank you for teaching us all how light bulbs have dual filaments. jp man, but you should check into your headlight wiring then. Do your side marker lights turn on? Or do S14s even have that?

Yeah S14s do have the side marker lights. You are referring to the ones on the front end right? There are sidemarker lights that come on with the headlights that are located just infront of the wheels.

Yes, well on my S13 I had problems with the alarm. When I locked it the lights stopped flashing. Turns out I had a burnt out side marker. I replaced it and the lights started flashing again. It's worth looking at if you've tried everything else.

check the bulbs, obviously.

does your tag light work? the tag light is tapped right off the power wire for the tailights. if it doesnt work, its a voltage issue. if it does work, its a mechanical issue (bulbs, contacts, corrosion, tailight ground, etc)
