haha, im back in the game, well sort of.

long story short, pulled engine, fixed everything that needed to be fixed, dropped it back in, and on the first crank,

tadah!!!!
camshaft breaks.

oh yea, that just happened.

soo, with the 2 engines i have, im going to buy a rebuild kit, and take the better of the 2 heads, and do a complete from the ground up factory rebuild.

i am no longer going to deal with others peoples problems, it is going to be even better than before.

it just might take me a few weeks.

don't take this the wrong way but i'm beginning to think you're the problem and not he car. cams don't just brake for no reason when the engine is turning over.

Damn this is crazy, I thought i was the only one having problems.well it all started
out when i got my first 240 it ran hard and strong but the i let my cousin use it and he fried my clutch so i fix it. it took me about a week by my self to fix it. 1 week later some girl runs a stop sign and totals my 240. 2 months later i get my next 240. It runs ok then 4 months later the engine blows so it sits around till i get the money to fix it about 3 months. $1700 later i get my new engine plus parts, labor and a 3 month warranty so about 1 month past the warranty my head goes out. here we go again it sits there till i get the money to fix it about 4 months later its up again now my rack in pinion goes out so i fix it drive it around and here noise coming from the engine so now i open the valve cover and see my timing guide is broken. here we go again time to fix my timing i start the job and some how i manage to strip my crank sprocket bolt. now im really pissed off at my self and think should i really fix this car. i wait about three months and start again by taking my head to wayne's engine re builders to re-thread my bolt. i pick it up 2 days later. I start about a month later to find out my piston rings are fried so i got to wait a day to get them in
I install them to find out i lost a nut that holds the piston in. now I got to junk yard.i start up again put my piston rings on and my head on the block torque it with a new head gasket to find out they did not re-thread my bolt. yes i know i should have checked it when i picked it up but being a dumb *** i didnt. now i have to find a solution. my uncle finds me a longer bolt that works out. here we go again I put the cams on and start to torque the bolts and the first one snaps in half do to a torque wrench defect so i get a new one and have to drill out the bolt that was stuck in the head took me a while. well after all that i found about 3 more stripped screws and alot more problems but i finally got it to run this Sunday and if you asked me if it's been worth all the time i would say Yes it has. Ive learned so much from this experience.

Dont give up it will be worth it when your done.
