OK guys,

I am going to use the stock KA24DE for now,

I found a car in Florida for $2,955

1997 s14 le

Looks MINT and the interior is leather. Bad news is it's an Auto.

I'm buying a new re-manufactured /rebuilt head, I need ideas on what cam shafts to get, it comes with stock cams but I would like something else...any suggestion? (Got it off ebay for $300)

I'm buying a turbo manifold, t-28 turbo, with all the plumbing (and turbo timer
Then a ceramic coated header (both of these off ebay), and a bov. It all has a 12 month warranty.

I'll hunt down the exhaust I want later. But all of this is on the way here (the parts will be here in 2-4 weeks.)

Found a nice body kit for $850 , and a carbon fiber hood for $750.
I'll paint it dark metallic grey with two white stripes...
The guy that had the car decked out the interior. It's got stainless trim and it really looks nice.
The engine has 120,000k on it. So I will throw in a rebuild kit. Later I will convert it to a 5spd...how much do you think that will run?

The car will be here mid November. If all goes well, I'll fire it up mid December after everything is done!

What else do I need, I'll go with Wiseco's for the rebuild, seeing as I have used them in my motorcycles for years...what comp ratio?

I'm open to suggestions!

The best part is, the grand tally without tax is around...drum roll...

Good find, since it is an LE you will need to upgrade to VLSD, get a used 300zx,240sx, or even J30 for around $300. Or since you are going turbo and you want it to stay streetable look for a LSD NISMO,KAAZ, or CUSCO. Use the search key at the top for the research.
Since you are getting the head follow my thread on do it yurself head porting.
For the cams get a exhaust cam from the 91-93 KA24de and install it on the intake side of your engine. Use the search key and type in HOt cams.
When you switch to a stick shift, follow fuzzymemo's install he just completed.
As far as internalls wiseco pistons with a 9.1~8.5 CR.
Eagle forged rods through nizzx.
Everything you need is at the typing of the search key.
Good luck with your project, keep us updated.

This work? or can i get away with this?

Thanks again, I'll check out the post on do it yourself porting...

I wonder what I will be looking at power wise. I'll split dyno costs with a buddy and well go tune them up. I know it will be a heck of alot better than his mazda3.

I will keep you all posted as the project comes together...

AS for the manual swap, for a S13 it is around 300 bucks. But since you have an S14, it will be more expensive, I heard that it costa around $900 to do a manual swap on an S14.

NO way is KAAZ dif $59.00, try more like $900. Get a 1.5way, if you go to the drivetrain section you will see a sticky on LSD. I would get a KAAZ but you should do your own rersearch, you may want a NISMO or CUSCO depending on the application.
