you could try taking out your thermostat to help fix your problem... but it will actually cause the engine to take forever for the engine to warm up to operating temperature... so mostly just worry about getting all the air out of the system and making sure your fluids are topped off... also run your heater full blast while your topping off your fluid... hope you get some help out of this...

In the lower rad hose on one of my 89's it has like a harness going into a metal pipe in the hose...Anyway it isnt even in so im not sure if that made a difference...i bought a bew thermostat today so i think im gonna first try it without a thermostat then ill see what happens

Yeah before you put the new one in you should try to bleed the system with the old one removed, make sure thats the problem before you put the new one in.

Removed the thermo put housing back and such just havent run it yet ill be sure to do that tommorow. Now i found the screw with the yellow sticker near it that says do no open when hot. What exactly am i looking for to happen when bleeding it? Bubbles from where the rad cap goes...collant comes out of that bleeder screw i just mentioned?

The bleeder screw will bubble a little and when it stops releasing "foam" and releases coolant instead you're good.

I know this is kinda out of place... but my uncles Hard body with the Ka is having the same issue.

Can someone take a picture of where the thermostat is... I would really appreciate it... This way I can help him out also.
