195/205 is the stock size, 215s do look more intimidating but with a stock engine and depending on the size and weight of the wheels you'd probably be better off with the steelies. even though i have some 235s on a stock 2.0jetta the wheels themselves are not heavy at all.

Stay the hell away from Tein. That **** is ****. Especially Tein Basics, if you buy that **** you're a moron.

Stance FTW.

Go to www.enjukuracing.com (no their not going out of business) Their Stance GR+'s are on sale for $1100. Good *** deal. Stance ride nice and their legitimate, they also have pretty good customer support.

Other than that, Stance Basics or Powered By Max coilovers (Poweredbymax.net) PBM can go super low, but are extremely stiff. I wouldn't reccomend them if you're going to daily the car, because I don't know you and you might complain about the stiffness. Make sure you get Rear Upper Control Arms as well (RUCAs). You're on the right path, just read some more and figure out what you want to do bro.

Tein isnt bad, just depends on what model you want. Picking the model is just based on what you'll be doing with the car I say at least 75% of the time.

17x9 or bigger.

Wasting money buying smaller then upgrading right?
