Rear Traction Control Link Install

Rear Traction Control Link Install
I swapped out my stock rear traction control links with some aftermarket links today...here's the pics.
Tools needed:
Jack
Jackstands
Socket wrench
18mm sockets
3/4 wrench
Breaker bar
Torque wrench
Crescent wrench
First, jack the car up and place the jackstands underneath.
Stock traction control link...it ends today!
You'll need a breaker bar to break each end of the control link. Then use a 18mm socket and a 3/4 wrench to remove the traction link bolts.
Next, I used a small hammer to tap out the bolts from the frame and spindle.
Ran into a problem here, one of the traction link bolts was facing the rear upper control arm so when I tried to remove the bolt it was blocked. I used the same 18mm socket and the 3/4 wrench to remove the outer RUCA(rear upper control arm) bolt so I could take out the traction link bolt.
Everything's pulled and ready for the new links!
Use a crescent wrench to spec the link to the same size as the stock link. I went with the Megan Racing Traction Control Link.
Now you can place the links and tap the bolts back in.
If you had to remove the RUCA then you need to put it back the way it was as well.
Don't forget to tighten the adjusting bolts with a crescent wrench. Torque the inner bolt to 51-65ft. lbs. and the outer bolt to 57-72ft. lbs. then hit up the alignment shop.
